Three focused services — each one designed to address a specific aspect of your watch's condition, without bundling work you don't need.
Your watch is opened and the movement visually inspected for wear, moisture, or prior non-professional work. Timing is measured across multiple positions on a timegrapher. A written summary of findings is prepared — along with clear cost estimates for any recommended work.
The self-winding mechanism receives focused attention — rotor assembly removed, cleaned, and inspected for bearing wear. Reversing wheels and the winding bridge are checked for proper engagement. Worn bearings replaced, rotor rebalanced where needed. Suitable for watches losing power reserve faster than expected.
A surface-focused approach addressing visual condition without touching the movement. Case polishing or brushing to reduce scratches, crystal replacement, bezel insert renewal, and lug refinishing. Work is done entirely by hand to preserve original case geometry and avoid over-removal of material.

Wherever possible, original components are retained and cleaned rather than replaced. Replacements are only used when genuinely necessary.
A Watch Health Assessment is a sensible first step if you're uncertain. It provides a detailed written report of the movement's condition and identifies what, if anything, requires further work — without committing you to additional services.
We work on a wide range of mechanical and self-winding watches. If you're unsure whether your particular piece is suitable, please call or email us before bringing it in. We'd rather have that conversation early.
The Winding Module Service addresses the self-winding mechanism specifically, including rotor bearing wear and reversing wheel engagement. If the cause isn't yet confirmed, a Watch Health Assessment can first determine whether the winding module is the responsible component.
Yes. The Cosmetic Detail Restoration is designed precisely for this. It addresses scratches, crystal condition, bezel inserts, and lug surfaces — entirely externally. The movement is not touched during this service.
The MYR 320 assessment fee covers the opening and visual inspection of the movement, timegrapher testing across multiple positions, and preparation of a written findings summary with itemised cost outlines for any recommended work. You are not obligated to proceed with any additional services.
Assessment takes 2–3 working days. Winding Module Service takes 5–8 working days. Cosmetic Detail Restoration takes 5–7 working days. Turnaround begins from the date the watch is received at our workshop.
